The Singer is NOT the Song [v1.1]

The Song, a carnal form of lyricist, poet and singers, inner emphereal emotions, is flavored by the underlying mood in lyrics.
Different singers mood makes the song listenable in varied ways but the original feel of the Song remains different.

We all are Singers of OUR Song but we are not THE SONG. If you felt wondered then the previous sentence has served its purpose. This proverbial aptness in developmental and change work fits like hands in glove. We all seek to change or undergo transition but the path we use is based on  3 things - What we heard? What we interpreted? What we experienced?

Abound interpretations of, just one amongst many, developmental theory can flummox a lay person. The chosen thoughts, lines, words, phrases of interpretations decides the fate of our experience. An approach can only be as effective as the person using it. Hence, the Singer is not the song.

The same holds true for TRANSACTIONAL ANALYSIS. TA is an amazing path to unravel and move from ignorance of intimacy in relationship to knowledge of intimacy and its impact on the relationship. You are urged to work with the TA concept and techniques on yourself first before it is used with others or even extrapolate to Organisational Change and Development needs. There is no shortcut because we do not know what we do not know.

My experience to Listen to those whom TA has transformed is nothing but a journey of revelation on different shades of Song but the ethos remains the same the across time and situation- AUTONOMOUS.

Be it Oneself, or Partners or Parents or Bosses-  all are tuned with/to a SONG but the feel varies with mood and context.

Development and Change is a deliberate and conscious effort to better our life and relationship. So the onus is on The Singer who wants to sing a NEW song or a NEW tune of same Song.Still, the Singer is not the Song.

[The abstractness to an application of TA in this blog  makes it imperative to update it with more thoughts, so look at the blog title change from [v1.0] to v[2.0] and many more versions[v]]
